After being the Senior Pastor in four different churches God led me back to seminary to further my education process to more adequately minister to the older ones in our church fellowship here in the northwest! After receiving my doctorate in the Ministry of Counseling I was called to a large church in Seattle WA. There I ministered in hospitals, nursing homes, private homes and assistant living establishments.
The Lord then brought us back to Oregon to serve the Rogue Valley Community. We have been privileged to minister here for almost 14 years.
I was ordained for the ministry while pastoring my first church, which was the McKenzie Baptist Church in Leaburg Oregon. From there the Lord led my wife and me to establish a work in Winchester Bay, OR. Then on to Calvary Baptist in Eugene OR. My final church as Senior Pastor was the First Conservative Baptist Church of La Pine, Oregon.
My entire seminary education was at Covington Theological Seminary. Receiving my Bachelors in 1984; my Masters in 1985; and my Doctorate in 1986.
My wife and I have three children, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren and one more on the way. My wife of 58 plus years is now deceased.
